Prudence Wallet

Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you use Prudence Wallet (the website and app). Prudence Wallet is developed by Opeyemi Ayoola in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Testing stage

Prudence Wallet is in early testing. Features may change, be paused or be removed, and things may not always work as expected. We'll do our best to warn you before any change that affects your data. Your feedback is welcome at yemcels@gmail.com.

What Prudence Wallet does — and doesn't do

Connecting accounts

You can choose to connect accounts such as PayPal or your bank. Connections are read-only: they let us see balances and transactions so they can be shown in the app, never make payments. Bank connections are made through a regulated open banking provider, and you approve access on your bank's own website or app — we never see your bank login details. You can disconnect an account at any time in the app, and your bank may also ask you to renew access periodically.

Your account

Fair use

Please don't misuse the app — for example, by trying to access other people's accounts or data, interfering with or overloading the service, probing it for security weaknesses without our permission, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

If you find a security problem, please tell us privately at yemcels@gmail.com rather than publishing it.

Your data

How we collect, use and protect your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and responsibility

Prudence Wallet is provided free during testing, "as is". We work to keep it secure and available, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that information from connected accounts will always be complete or up to date.

We aren't responsible for decisions you make based on the app, or for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under UK consumer law, or our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using Prudence Wallet and delete your account at any time from the profile menu. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app develops. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and tell you in the app or by email about significant changes.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: yemcels@gmail.com.
